Brief description of fishery:

Seven oaks is located in a beautiful rural setting of pontyclun. The lake is stocked with a wide range of species and offers full wheelchair access.Night fishing is not allowed under any circumstances.Catch reports must be filled in before leaving the complex and this can be found in the open area of the shed opposite the bungalow.

There are 16 available car park spaces.

Access & Parking

Access through the main gate  just off cowbridge road,follow the track until you see the designated car park to your left.There are 3 additional spaces to the right just before the bungalow.No vehicle access through the bottom gate.

when entering the lake pleas make all gate have been locked including the main entrance as you arrive.

Park off the highway to access the entrance gate to Sevenoaks.

Drive slowly along track to minimise the risk or collision with other vehicles, pedestrians and animals.

Park in designated area on the left hand side of the track; do not obstruct access to the lake/bungalow. Do not drive on grassed areas, use the overflow parking to the right of the bungalow only when main car park is full.

Take extra care when exiting the site towards Talygarn (turning right).

If you see walkers straying from the public footpath on to the lake site ask them to only use the footpath.
